Room to settle.
Both sides unzip and fold out, so your cat can lie down however it likes, with room to spare. Each side adds 6.7 in (17 cm) on the small and 9.8 in (25 cm) on the large. Zip them back in for the next leg.
02 / How it carries
Three ways to carry.
Wide, padded handles that are comfortable to hold. A shoulder strap with a wide pad so it does not dig in, which clips on and off easily. A sleeve on the back that slides over a suitcase handle, so your hands are free.
03 / At home
A spot they already know.
Leave it open at home with the sides out, and it becomes a familiar place to nap. When vet day comes, it's not a strange box.

Check your airline first.
Airline rules on in-cabin pet carriers differ by airline and change over time. The small is 16.9 x 11 x 11 in (43 x 28 x 28 cm) and the large is 18.9 x 11.8 x 12.2 in (48 x 30 x 31 cm). Compare them with your airline's current rules before you fly.
What sizes does it come in?
Small is 16.9 x 11 x 11 in (43 x 28 x 28 cm), for cats up to 13 lb (5.9 kg). Large is 18.9 x 11.8 x 12.2 in (48 x 30 x 31 cm), for cats up to 17 lb (7.7 kg).
How much room do the sides add?
Each side panel adds 6.7 in (17 cm) on the small and 9.8 in (25 cm) on the large. Open one side or both.
Does it sag when I carry it?
No. It has a firm base, so it keeps its shape when you lift it with your cat inside.
Do the sides fall in when they are zipped closed?
No. When you zip the sides back in, they do not fall in on your cat, so the space inside stays the same.
Does the top sag when the sides are open?
No. The top keeps its shape with the sides open or closed.
Can I carry it on a suitcase?
Yes. A sleeve on the back slides over a suitcase handle.
Does it fold flat?
Yes. It folds flat when you are not using it.

Flew cross-country with my 15-year-old (she's a big girl). I was nervous it'd be too small, but she was comfy the whole time. Just double check your airline's size limits though, it won't work for every one.

This pet carrier is amazing, the quality is superb. Pockets on every side and on top. The extendable sides pop out easily and hold there shape well, other carriers i've seen online don't hold there shape like this when extended and collapse so i'm really pleased. It's so big it's like a play pen. Only critique would be that the base could be a little sturdier but i will find a way to strengthen that myself.
My 15 lb guy can actually lay down and chill in there. Used to have to shove him into his old bag lol, not anymore.

The expandable sides come in really handy sometimes.
Keep one in my truck just in case. Folds flat, takes up basically no space, and pops open when you need it. Already used it once for a stray I found on the side of the road.

Bought it for car rides with my Maine Coon (13 lbs). It's sturdy and the sides zip out no problem. Honestly if you think it's flimsy, you probably didn't put it together right.
It's bigger and sturdier than the expensive ones I looked at. Tossed some catnip in and my cats were literally fighting over it.
